DDC Overview & Where DDC Sits

DDC (Data & Digital Catalysts) is the delivery organization within CS CoE responsible for turning the CS CoE vision into outcomes. Its 2026 theme is the "Year of Outcomes"Aligned Globally. Delivering Faster. Impact at Scale.

Where DDC sits

DDC is a child organization of CS CoE and has a pivotal role in enabling the CS CoE vision.

Mission, Team & Impact

DDC frames its identity around three lenses:

Our Mission

We drive the modernisation of our computational & data ecosystems and integrate digital technologies across the REDs to enable our stakeholders, power data-driven science and accelerate decision-making.

Our Team

We are a technical, impact-driven and highly collaborative team at the intersection of data, engineering & computation. We are embedded closely with our stakeholders and focused on delivering business impact.

Our Impact

We design, build and deploy impactful, end-to-end solutions to collect, process & analyse data and supercharge workflows to enable stakeholders in the CoE and across the REDs.

Why DDC exists

DDC exists to enable data-driven science at scale, through four thrusts:

  • Reuse across the REDs — reduce duplication and fragmentation by building reusable platforms and capabilities that scale globally.

  • Supercharging Science — partner closely with pRED and gRED scientists, translating complex scientific needs into impactful digital solutions.

  • Seamless Data Flow & Unified Access — design and operate a modern technology & data landscape with seamless data flow, automation, and unified access to AI-ready data and models.

  • Modernization at Scale — empower scientists with AI-enabled workflows and solutions that increase speed, quality, and reproducibility.

Desired future state (by end of 2026)

  • Simplification & modernization of the landscape

  • AI & automation embedded at scale

  • Self-service platforms & reusable capabilities widely adopted

  • Seen as industry leaders, with happy stakeholders and improved R&D productivity
