For 2026, CS CoE organizes its goals around five pillars. DDC is accountable for delivering Pillar 3 and contributes to all others.

All five are guided by the CS CoE mission: aspiring to be Roche’s world-leading hub for data, computation and AI, dedicated to shaping the future of drug discovery and early development.

Pillar 3 — DDC’s accountability

DDC owns Pillar 3, Driving R&D Productivity through Technical and Digital Excellence, which includes sub-goals such as:

  • Deliver on the agreed RDE WS7 roadmaps and milestones (BEAR, ELN, Omics, PBAM, PCI, TMR and relevant clinical workstreams)

  • Implement or scale 10 shared solutions with active users in both REDs by end of 2026

  • Increase the volume of instrument data automatically captured and AI-ready across the REDs by 30% each quarter of 2026

  • Supercharge scientists' workflows through at least 10 solutions using state-of-the-art approaches such as Agentic AI

  • Achieve 90% of the CS CoE team leveraging advanced AI tools and methodologies by Q4 2026

  • Drive system and data landscape convergence — a 30% reduction in complexity by end of 2026, including consolidation/decommissioning of legacy platforms
